Group of Rare Lynx Cross Road in Maine During Nor'easter
A woman had a rare encounter with a group of lynx near Amity, Maine, as a nor'easter moved in on Saturday, January 29. Dianna Goodall-Nelson said she saw the elusive felines with her boyfriend Reggie McGary while the pair were driving near the town. "The two crossed in front of us, but the 3rd hesitated and didnÕt make it in time. We sat there for about 10 minutes watching them," she told Storyful. "The two on the right appeared very concerned about the 3rd not being with them. Eventually it crossed to the other side and they continued into the trees," she added. The Canada lynx is threatened and "state species of special concern," according to the https://www.maine.gov/ifw/fish-wildlife/wildlife/species-information/mammals/canada-lynx.html#:~:text=In%20Maine%2C%20lynx%20are%20most,the%20highest%20in%20the%20state Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
