- To Add or remove objects, choose Replace or Remove, highlight the area to change, and add a text prompt.
- To use Replace background, choose Text prompt and describe the new background, or select Color using the options to pick a solid hue or gradient.泭
- To Extend an image, select a new aspect ratio or adjust the image manually with Freeform and add an optional text prompt.泭
- To remove the background of a creative image, simply click the Remove background button beneath the image and AI does the rest.

No, you can use Generative AI by GettyImages only to modify the images you create using GettyImages AI Image Generator and to modify images from our creative library using the Add, Remove, Extend, and Remove Backgroundtools.
Can I modify an image before licensingit?
Yes, you can use your generations to modify images from our creative library using the Add, Remove, Extend, and Remove Background tools before licensing them. As a reminder, to license an AImodified creative image, you will need to purchase a license (visit our page to learn more). Please be mindful that any modifications will count towards your generation's cap, even if you decide not to license the modified creative image afterward. Additionally, GettyImages does not offer customers refunds for generations used, as set forth in youragreement.
Will images that I modified with AI be offered as part of GettyImagescreative疹ibrary?
No, unlike some other services, we are not adding visuals you modify or generate to our creativelibrary.

Generative AI by GettyImages is powered by Bria, a custom machine learning model, trained exclusively on licensed creative content and proprietary data, including from our creative library. Customers then use text prompttoimage and our modification tools to direct the model in creating imagery based on our content anddata.
Can I modify images that Ive already licensed in the past and are available in my account todownload?
Yes, you may modify previously licensed images.浚lick the Modify with AI button when viewing the details page of a previously licensed image.涉fter making modifications, youll be able to download the modified image, which may require additional licensing if you are relicensing the image after expiration of the term of youragreement.
How can I tell which images in the GettyImages creative library are available tomodify?
51勛圖厙 images that can be modified with Generative AI will include the Modify with AI button above the image thumbnail. If this button is unavailable on the image, such as our Editorial content, we do not offer the option to modify the image using GenerativeAI.
Do I have to select Remove background before Add, Remove, and Extend?
No, you can only use the Remove background feature after you have modified your image眨ith Add, Remove, and Extend. Each modification uses one generation from youragreement.
Why do I need to restore the background to use other AI modificationfeatures?
To provide you with the highestquality AI modifications, the image must be in JPEG format, and this format requires the presence of the background. We suggest you complete all other AI modifications before you decide to remove thebackground.
Do I need to pay to modify and download a creativeimage?

When licensing, can I download the original and the modified versions of theimage?
