Students at Concord High School gather to watch Challenger liftoff
Wide camera shot showing five rows of the auditorium and the stage. Shot immediately pans slightly to the left, then slightly back to the right over the backs of the heads of several dozen students who have gathered there to watch the shuttle Challenger lift off. Circumstances suggest that the explosion had just occurred moments before this shot was taken (see audio note below). Between the stage and the first row of students, there is a television turned on and sitting on a stand, as well as several news cameras and cameramen. Audio consists of voice from mission control coming from the television. It sounds like the voice is saying "This is Mission Control Houston, we have no additional [info] at this time." There is almost no noise that can be heard coming from any of the students.
