Dan Aykroyd Talks About Conceiving of "The Blues Brothers" With John Belushi

Dan Aykroyd: We were talking about music and the Blues and he says well i’m into heavy metal and I said well I’ll show you blues and we played more records and more records and John said “you know, I bet I could sing this stuff and I said “you know I play a little harmonica.” We could put a band together and Howard Shore was there, the Oscar winning, Lord of The Rings composer. He was at the bar. And Shaffer was there and you know “We could call it “The Blues Brothers.”
