Stand Up To Racism Unites Against Tommy Robinson Protest In Central London
LONDON, ENGLAND - JUNE 1: (EDITOR’S NOTE: Audio/music licensing is not included.) A video message by far right political commentator Katies Hopkins is played to supporters of Tommy Robinson on Parliament Square on June 1, 2024 in London, England. She said they had been labelled conspiracy theorists, anti-vaccination and racist and said they would not go away. Tommy Robinson, the founder of the right-wing group The English Defence League (EDL), called for his supporters to demonstrate against what he believes to be a two-tiered police and justice system. Stand Up For Racism (SUTR) and other anti-fascist groups staged a counter-protest. SUTR says, "Robinson is a fascist who has a history of involvement with fascist and far right organisations."
