Video footage taken on May 21 in Hiroshima shows junior high school students on a school trup from Sekigahara, Gifu Prefecture, visiting Hiroshima Municipal Motomachi Senior High School, where the elder students paint and explain pictures based on the experiences of survivors of the atomic bombing of the city. The 12 visiting students first saw the Peace Park and the Atomic Bomb Dome before view the paintings kept at the high school. Students at Motomachi Senior High School students voluntarily began painting atomic bombing-related scenes in 2007 in order to preserve and pass on memories kept by victims.
