Ezomomonga squirrel peeks out from woody home in Hokkaido

Video footage taken on Jan. 9 in a forested area of the Ishikari region in Hokkaido shows an "ezomomonga" (Pteromys volans orii, or Russian or Siberian flying squirrel) peeking out of its nest at its wintry surroundings.
