Video footage taken on Aug. 28 in front of JR Kochi Station in Kochi Prefecture shows statues of Sakamoto Ryoma, Nakaoka Shintaro and Takechi Hanpeita three anti-shogunate samurai with links to the region, being removed for safety and maintenance before the arrival of powerful Typhoon No. 10.
