Vermont Congressman Peter Welch says at press conference to introduce the Big Oil Windfall Profits Tax Act that it Americans were willing to make their share of sacrifices to help the people of Ukraine stand up to violence of the Putin regime and Russia but where was big oil, having it within their power to increase production but instead were 2019 levels to keep production down and prices up to rake in record profits, instead to do their share to help Americans in the people of Ukraine as the bill would do to stop standing aside reaping excess profits and instead do their part along with every hard-working American suffering as a result of high prices.
