Salisbury Cathedral chorister wears Bishops robes in new role as Chorister Bishop
Verger Joseph Davies helps chorister Sebastian Kunzer to dress and stand correctly as he gets used to wearing Bishop's robes while rehearsing his role as Chorister Bishop at Salisbury Cathedral in Wiltshire.
During the annual event, which takes place around St Nicholas' Day, a chorister is chosen to act as Bishop for a short period in advent in a typical role-reversal medieval custom whereby masters and servants swap places for a spell.
