Venezuelan president welcomes leaders to ALBA-TCP Summit in Caracas
CARACAS, VENEZUELA - DEC. 14, 2024: Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro on Saturday, Dec. 14, welcomed the leaders and officials of member countries at the opening of the ALBA-TCP (Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America) Summit held at the Simon Bolivar Park Congress Center in the capital, Caracas.
Among the participants at the summit of this regional alliance, consisting of 10 countries, were Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki, Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega, Bolivian President Luis Arce, Cuban President Miguel DÃaz-Canel, and the prime ministers of Caribbean islands.
The leaders gathered for meetings aimed at strengthening regional cooperation and solidarity.
