3,400,000 years old Ballica cave: Wonder of nature

The cave that's situated on a 1,085 meter-hill (5,559.7 feet) is regarded as one the largest and most magnificent caves in the world. Ballica cave which is estimated to be formed some 3,400,000 years ago attracts attention with its average 18 degrees celsius (64.4 degrees F) inside temperature and 54 percent moisture as well. Preperations to enable Ballica cave to be added to UNESCO's World Heritage List are underway. Governor of Tokat Cevdet Can tells that they invited some foreign scientists participating a scienfic congress held in Turkish capital Ankara and introduced the cave to them with a presentation before organizing the current tour. He says that they launched a campaign to enable the cave to take its rightful place on World Heritage List. He adds that the cave amazed the team of scientists joining the tour. Can, refering to famous quote attributed to Roman Emperor Julius Caesar " I came, I saw and I conquered" says "We always say "I came, I saw, I admired" for these lands. We have set targets for showing this admiration and for spreading it to whole mankind. Our aim is to enable the cave to be added to World Heritage List." He points out that as they're at application stage right now, they need scholarly written articles of academicians and Turkish experts which he hopes that the scientists team there are to provide.
