Two ground-breaking pictures by Joseph Mallord William Turner (1775–1851) will return to the UK for the first time in over 100 years, as part of a focused new National Gallery exhibition. Generously lent for the first time by The Frick Collection in New York, the two oil paintings will be on display at the Gallery in the Turner on Tour exhibition this winter.
