Dennis Rivers was driving in Summerville, South Carolina, with his girlfriend, Emmie Schroeder, when they came across the short but tense battle. Video by Rivers shows the rabbit bite and chew at the snake as it drags it across the road. "Wait, why is the bunny winning? No, bunny. Give it up. Give it up, bunny," a shocked Schroeder can be heard saying in the video. Speaking to Storyful, Rivers said the rabbit was just looking for some protein.
