Turkey promotes quick diagnosis kit for coronavirus
ANKARA, TURKEY - MARCH 21: Turkey promotes on March 21, 2020 a quick coronavirus (COVID-19) testing kits that show result in 15 minutes.Following the announcement of Turkey’s Health Minister Fahrettin Koca to distribute diagnostic kits, to the all cities, the ministry has started to use quick diagnostic kits which give results in 15 minutes.Besides the local diagnostic kit that allows comprehensive results within 60-90 minutes in the coronavirus diagnosis, a quick diagnostic kit also will be used that can give results in 15 minutes.After the suggestion of the Scientific Committee, the number of tests for coronavirus and the laboratories that the tests can be produced have been increased in the country, said the Ministry of Health in a statement.The reliability of the test is very high, said Microbiology Specialist Yasemin Coskun adding that it provides easy and fast use, especially in the emergency departments.(Footage by Turkish Health Ministry/Anadolu Agency via Getty Images)
