2020 Tokyo Olympic Games: Eilidh McIntyre interview; ***OLYMPIC RINGS VISIBLE - MAY BE SOLD FOR EDITORIAL PURPOSES ONLY*** JAPAN: Tokyo: EXT Eilidh McIntyre (Sailor, Team GB) interview SOT Q: CONGRATULATIONS, HOW DO YOU REFLECT ON THIS - It feels like it's still settling in, there's just so much emotion going round, just trying to let that sink in and come to terms with it all really, it's everything I've ever dreamed of so letting that content feeling sink in Q: IT DID LOOK VERY EMOTIONAL AT THE MEDAL CEREMONY, WHAT WAS GOING THROUGH YOUR MIND - Just 'no one can take this from me now', it's mine / just a feeling of overwhelming relief and pride to be stood out there with Han(nah Mills), the greatest female Olympic sailor ever that's just such an honour Q: IS IT SOMETHING THAT IF YOU THINK BACK TO YOUR CHILDREN WHEN YOU FIRST STARTED, IT WAS AN INEVITABLE PATH YOU MUST GO ON - It's never felt inevitable, I think what I really got from my dad was this sense of 'you can do anything if you work hard enough, if you push hard enough you can do it', and he always says 'if I can do it so can you' and that's so true, I've pushed so hard for this, I've worked my socks off, and wow, what a moment, both of us with gold medals, it's just amazing Q: HAVE YOU MANAGED TO SPEAK TO HIM YET - Yeah, I've spoken to him a bit, I think he just feel absolute relief / apparently he's been a nightmare to live with / just absolute relief and joy Q: AND WHAT ABOUT THE SAILING CLUB, HAVE YOU SEEN THE PICTURES FROM THEM THERE OF THEM ALL CELEBRATING - I have, I got sent a video of them all cheering; what an amazing feeling to have so much support, to have so many of your loved ones and people who have been a part of your journey and wished you luck to be there altogether / I'm just so glad my parents and my family got to be there in that moment Q: WHAT'S NEXT FOR YOU NOW - A bit of time to decompress, hopefully some really cool opportunities, and then I'm not sure,...
