MEXICO CITY, MEXICO - MARCH 8, 2024: Thousands of women march for International Women's Day, filling the streets of Mexico City on Friday (March 8).
Women participated to march with purple and green and slogans like "the patriarchy is not going to fall, we are going to throw it away" "down with the patriarchy that is going to fall, that The feminism that is going to win, that is going to win is going to fall, up is going to win" "and let the sexists tremble and tremble that Latin America will be all feminist"
Yeraldin Flores, 18 years old, student stated that every day of her life she feel in danger.
Every day of my life I feel in danger, whether at night or during the day, no matter how I dress, I feel bad, I know that something bad can happen and I don't feel safe. Flores said.
Osiris Mendoza, 26 years old, graphic designer said that she come for the missing women.
I come for the missing because there are many, there are more than 113 thousand missing people and women are a huge number we demand justice for all of them because they are missing and we need them to be here with us Mendoza said.
