Video shows Tramonica Brown, Not My Son's founder and leader, speaking at a vigil held in Dallas, TX at City Hall for Vanessa Guillen. Not My Son is a non-profit organization based in Dallas, TX. The vigil was a peaceful protest to fight to get justice for Vanessa Guillen, who was killed on April 22, 2020, inside a Fort Hood, TX armory by another enlisted soldier. Although, Not My Son is an organization for the black lives matter movement, they support all minority communities and are fighting for justice. Not My Son is focused on bringing the community together through events, rallies, and organized discussions focused on reforming city policies that perpetuate systems of oppression.
