Adelin Lis, Fugitive Illegal Logging Case, Arrested And Taken To Jakarta, Indonesia

Attorney General ST Burhanuddin revealed the process of repatriating the convicted illegal logging case Adelin Lis from Singapore to Indonesia. Adelin Lis was arrested in Singapore using a fake passport.
"Earlier at 19.40 WIB until 19.55, Garuda flight GA 837 which was carrying the convict Adelin Lis in Singapore was arrested using a fake passport on behalf of Hendro Leonardi," said Buhanuddin at a press conference at the Attorney General's Office, South Jakarta, Saturday 19 June 2021.
Adelin Lis was previously involved in illegal logging cases, and was sentenced to 10 years in prison and a fine of more than IDR 119 billion by the Supreme Court in 2008. He has been on the run since 2007. (Footage by StringersHub via Getty Images)
