Traditional horse race festival kicks off in northern Oman

SHINAS, OMAN - JAN. 05: The traditional horse race festival, in the north of Oman attracted horse lovers across the country on Friday (Jan. 5). The horse race which is held in the Shinas province in the al-Batinah region has been going on for centuries. Organized by the Oman Equestrian Federation, the racing aims to encourage horse owners to sports related to horses.
