TOKYO, JAPAN - APR. 25: The Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic organizing committee decided on their official emblem on April 25, 2016, a navy-colored check design with its roots in feudal Japan's Edo period. The logo, chosen by a selection panel, was picked from a shortlist of four announced on April 8 after more than 14,599 entries were publicly accepted. It was designed by Tokyo-based artist Asao Tokolo.
