Roof Blows Off School Gym as Ophelia Hits Southern Ireland

The roof of a school gym in County Cork was https://twitter.com/Donnchadhol/status/919900627697840134 torn away by high winds caused by ex-Hurricane Ophelia when it hit the southwest of Ireland on October 16. Elsewhere, in Waterford, a woman was killed after a tree fell on the vehicle she was travelling in. Met Éireann, the Irish weather service, warned that Ophelia was likely to be the most severe weather event to hit the country in over 50 years.
