China's Chang'e-6 Lunar Probe Awaits Shipment To Beijing
SIZIWANG BANNER, CHINA - JUNE 25: (COMPILATION) The return capsule of the Chang'e-6 probe lands at the designated landing area on June 25, 2024 in Siziwang Banner, Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China. China's Chang'e 6 lunar probe, which returned to the Earth on the afternoon of June 25, will be transported back to the capital city of Beijing, after undergoing preliminary examination and shipment preparation. At 14:07 Beijing Time (0607 GMT), the returner of the Chang'e-6 probe touched down in Siziwang Banner, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, bringing back lunar samples from the little-explored far side of the moon for the first time in the world.
