The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a weather warning on April 28 as a severe storm brought dark rainclouds and lightning to the Tulsa, Oklahoma, area. The NWS Tulsa bureau https://twitter.com/NWStulsa/status/1255289154604339200 alerted the potential for https://newswire.storyful.com/storylines/*/stories/235230?search_term=tulsa "tornadoes, quarter size hail and wind gusts to around 70 mph" from severe storms heading east across Oklahoma into Arkansas. Broken Arrow resident Thomas Gardner, who filmed the video of the severe storms moving across the edge of Tulsa, wrote on Twitter, "It's that time of year Tulsa." Heavy https://newswire.storyful.com/storylines/*/stories/235171 mammatus – or 'mammary' – clouds were also seen over Tulsa after severe storms swept through the city and surrounding counties. The cloud formation – made up of bulges or pouches at the base of other clouds – is said to form as a result of air turbulence within large cumulonimbus structures.
