A colorful opening ‎ceremony, orchestrated by Nejib Belkadhi, was held in capital Tunis. The Chadian film “Lingui, The Sacred Bonds” directed by the Chadian filmmaker Mahamat Saleh Haroun (2021)was the opening film of this year's festival.
