Pyramids of Xochicalco
XOCHICALCO, MEXICO - 1969: The images show the pyramids of Xochicalco near Cuernavaca, Mexico. Xochicalco is a pre-Columbian archaeological site located in the western part of the state of Morelos. The name, derived from the Nahuatl language, means "Place of the Flower House." The site is situated 38 km southwest of Cuernavaca and 122 km from Mexico City, featuring impressive stone structures and remnants of ancient Mesoamerican civilization.
