Ayrton Senna is pushed off the track whilst Murray Walker commentates during Italian Grand Prix; 1988

The first Italian Grand Prix after the death of Ferrari founder Enzo Ferrari. The clip shows racing car drivers, in Formula One cars; Michele Alboreto, for the Ferrari team, Gerhard Berger, for the Ferrari team, and Ayrton Senna, for the McLaren-Honda team, driving at great speed in the leading positions. Cuts to commentary over footage describing Derek Warwick challenging Eddie Cheever, both of the Arrows-Megatron team, also known as The Arrows Grand Prix International team. Then, as Commentator, Murray Walker, comments on how the cars for the Arrows-Megatron team are made in Milton Keynes, we see Senna spin off the racetrack. Senna's team are seen trying to assist the racecar back onto the track, but he is beached on the kerb. Crowds in the stand are seen cheering and waving flags. Murray Walker's animated commentary exudes the excitement of the crowds, and the change in race dynamics after Senna's spin. Includes a slow motion playback of the incident, where Jean-Louis Schlesser tipping off Senna's car, sending it spinning.
