Film: 'Luther: The Fallen Sun': Idris Elba and Andy Serkis interview; Part 4 of 4 ENGLAND: London: INT Idris Elba (Actor) interview (continued from Part 2) SOT Q: IF YOU COULD REBOOT ANY SHOW YOU LOVED OR MAKE A SEQUEL, WHICH WOULD IT BE - (Sings 'The Professionals' theme with Serkis SOT) Do you remember that; too young / 'The Professionals' / very macho show about two cops in their Ford Capri / two characters, unorthodox detectives in this cool car and they'd go for bad guys, lots of driving, I'd love to make that again Andy Serkis (Actor) responding SOT - I'd like to remake Jason and the Argonauts which was a stop motion film / I loved those films, not even as a cinema experience but as an immersive 3D experience to be able to walk in amongst the performances Elba interview SOT Q: ON HIS MEMORIES OF THE PRINCE'S TRUST AND RELATIONSHIP WITH THE KING - It was at a time when I was a young actor just leaving school, could take this into a career / discovered National Youth Music Theatre, auditioned to get in there and because it was subsidised my parents couldn't afford it / someone said to me 'why don't you apply for the Prince's Trust for a grant' / I went to an audition somewhere in Covent Garden, stood in a room, sung and walked out / two weeks later a cheque arrived that helped me get into the National Youth Theatre / changed my life, and gave me a lot of faith in organisations like The Prince's Trust that help create opportunity for someone that doesn't have any / the King and I have celebrated this moment a few times / I've always wanted to champion the work they do, I admire the King for keeping that work going, and he's even gone into international waters now; he's helped me do some work in Sierra Leone recently / fond memories of the trust and very thankful.
