Eta Aquarid meteor shower illuminates skies over California's Point Reyes
MARIN COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, US - MAY 6: The Eta Aquarid meteor shower offered a spectacular celestial display over Point Reyes National Seashore in Inverness, Marin County, with the Milky Way visible as it peaked early on Tuesday, May 6.
Clear skies over the California coastline provided ideal visibility for the meteor shower, allowing viewers to see meteors streaking across the pre-dawn sky.
The Eta Aquarids, known for their fast and bright meteors, are associated with Halley's Comet and are typically visible from April to May.
