CLEAN: The chief executive of McDonalds says America must cut taxes and government spending in order to kick-start an economic recovery. Speaking to Sky's Jeff Randall, Jim Skinner says the biggest issue facing the U.S. is job creation -- and that the country's unemployment rate of 9 per cent has led to consumer confidence hitting an all time low. Interior interview with Jim Skinner "I think you have to cut taxes in some environments, particularly in the business community. We pay some of the highest taxes around the world, relative to business corporate tax and there needs to be some levelling of the playing field there. Some will pay more, some will pay less, but you have to have a commercial code and a change in the tax code. you also have to have less spending, the government has to spend less" Jim Skinner McDonalds CEO Interview on November 07, 2011 in Chicago, Illinois (Footage by Sky News/Getty Images)
