Hanks: the best thing is the variety that it gives you. You end up going to a lot of different places. You end up shooting something different everyday that you don’t have to go back and shoot again. You end up working with people for a very concentrated period of time that you become friends with then they disappear and you never see them again until they are working on another movie with you. That’s actually the most exciting part about it. The most difficult part of that is the Satanist that is locked into that with you to take a shower and drive to location and get out and have to sit in that chair and have that goopy stuff put into your face again at 6:30 in the morning when you’re hardly awake, knowing that you have huge responsibilities that you have to follow through for the rest of the day. That is the thing that really wears you down after a wile. By about the second month of shooting, a cold sponge on your face with stuff on it feels as though asparagus with mayonnaise that has been left overnight has landed on your cheek. It’s just not a pleasant sensation. Look at the money he’s making.
