BEIJING, CHINA - FEBRUARY 03: The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Torch was carried on the Great Wall of China by Chinese athletes ahead of the games in Beijing. The olympic torch was carried 1.47 kilometers by 40 people on the historic wall, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. A five-time men’s table tennis Olympic gold medallist Ma Long, who won the Rio and Tokyo Olympics, was among the torchbearers . The torch was also carried by former female taekwondo player Vu Cingyu, artistic ice skater Pang Ching, and Chinese athlete Yang Chien, who won a gold medal in shooting at the Tokyo Olympics. Expressing that many more people will meet winter sports thanks to the Winter Olympic Games, tennis player Ma Long, 34-year-old, said that the games will inspire people to keep their bodies and minds fit through sports. Getting the Olympic flame to the top of the Great Wall of China, Yang Chien wished the Olympic dreams of all Chinese athletes participating in the Winter Olympics to come true. Among the names carrying the torch was Jackie Chan, who is the famous film actor known for his action movies. "Today is a proud day for me.
