Buckwheat or buckwheat, rye (buckwheat in English) is grown in the high mountains of Northern Vietnam. This plant belongs to the bean family (Fabaceae), the petals are bunched together into a pyramid shape, in the middle is a grain of pulse. The color of buckwheat flowers changes with each stage. When it first blooms, it is pure white, then turns pale pink, purple pink, then dark red and finally turns black when it withers, it is no longer beautiful. At the end of October and early November every year, buckwheat flowers bloom, with gentle pink and purple colors throughout the hilly areas of Ha Giang.
