Senator Cornyn press statement after Trump meeting on tax reform
Texas Senator John Cornyn tells reporters that a yes vote on a comprehensive tax reform bill would be a yes vote for more jobs and better pay, that a no vote expected from Democrats would be a vote for a stagnant economy, flat wages and accepting that American jobs would continue to go overseas because of a self-destructive business tax code. Cornyn says the bill was for doers and dreamers, the moment and the opportunity for the Senate to deliver to Americans an opportunity to pursue their dreams.
