Texas Congressman Kevin Brady says in debate on the CARES Act to deal with economic and health care aspects of the coronavirus outbreak that America was battling the coronavirus medically and economically, the vote about saving lives and livelihoods, to save jobs and help others who had lost theirs, preserve Main Street businesses to rebound strongly the Congress needed to act aggressively to stem the economic damage while Democrats in speaker Nancy Pelosi unfortunately delayed the bill for days to use the crisis to advance a frivolous political agenda that failed.
