Temples Turn White As Kyoto Sees Season's First Snow

KYOTO, JAPAN - DEC. 18: Temples and shrines in Kyoto turned white early Thursday morning as first snowfall in this winter season was recorded in the old capital of Japan in the cold weather. The famous Gold Pavilion of Kinkakuji Temple, and Kiyomizu-dera Temple, were among the sites colored in white for the first time this winter season.
