Peter Fonda Discusses His Involvement With Waterkeeper Alliance
Interviewer:Tell me how you’re involved with “Water Keeper” and how you got involved with this organisation.
Peter Fonda: Well I’m a big fan of Bobby’s, I’m well aware that the number one fuel for the human body is oxygen, the number two is water. And we need clean water. If 2.5% of the World’s water is potable, that’s not right. So Bobby’s done something, instead of going out against the law and being an outlaw – which is an easier road to take, you’re more visible – he went inside the law, and in the law that came from the 1800s, shut down General Electric. This is bloody major. Shut down General Electric on the Hudson river. I’m into the oceans but it takes clean water coming in from the land to help the oceans.
