Air India Plane Crash Protest In India, Kolkata
Supporters of India's main opposition Congress party are protesting against the Indian Government for Air India passengers who died in an Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad, in Kolkata, India, on June 16, 2025. An Air India flight from Ahmedabad to London, carrying 242 passengers and crew, crashed shortly after takeoff on Thursday, June 12, 2025, afternoon. Barring one survivor, no one else is being rescued. Former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani is among those killed in the crash.
