Snake Catcher Shows His Skills Extend to Feathery Intruders Too
A Sunshine Coast snake catcher showed his skills extended to feathery intruders too, when he was tasked with removing a tawny frogmouth that made its way into a home office in Woombye. Footage from Daniel Busstra shows the tawny frogmouth perched on a desk as Busstra approaches. "You're not supposed to be in here, are you?" Busstra asks the bird, before calming picking it up and taking it outside. Busstra explained in the video that he saw a Facebook post about the bird and offered to help. While the tawny frogmouth might look like an owl, the species is most closely related to the https://www.bushheritage.org.au/species/tawny-frogmouth#:~:text=Their%20species%20name%2C%20strigoides%2C%20means,more%20closely%20related%20to%20Nightjars.">nightjar .
