Statue dedicated to Johan Peter Emilius Hartmann, Copenhagen - 4K stock video

Johan Peter Emilius Hartmann (14 May 1805 – 10 March 1900) was a Danish composer who occupied a central place in Danish musical life. Hartmann's works included a particular Danish sensibility, incorporating distinctive Nordic elements, borrowing from folksongs, and tending towards rather dark sounds. Hartmann united these Romantic influences with a strong control over both form and theme, acquired through his Classical training and often reminiscent of Felix Mendelssohn.
