Spandau Ballet press conference; - (Hadley) We could do a private gig. - (Keeble) We hadn't been in a room together in 18 years. We did it in bits and pieces. Wanted to create an environment where we all felt comfortable. Took 18 months or so of gently gently. - (Norman) Got a massive amount of respect for each other nwo. I guess at the end, all bands do it, in any relationship you lose respect for each other.Thing that makes you appreciate something is losing it. Don't think we're going to want to lose that again. - (Martin Kemp) About 5 years ago I remixed the 1986 live show into 5.1 and thought I want to be up there. Caled my brother and told him I wanted to fly down to Ibiza to meet Steve. I'd not spoken to him for a long time. Seen him across a court room and that was all. We had lunch together but it wasn't right for Tony and John at that point. About a year ago John and I were like two heralds on a battle field; maybe there's something more here. - (Hadley) Must say that Johnny Keeble has been instrumental in bringing us back together again. Thanks. - (Keeble) There's been many heroes along the way but it's just been a matter of getting it to this point. We can look forward and get to the exciting bit which is malking a racket together. - (Norman) Are focusing on the UK tour now but we are doing a world tour. And will definitely be going to Spain. - (Gary Kemp) Ran in to Nick Rhodes in Soho yesterday and he asked when the dates were because he doesn't want to clash (laughter as reporter asks if Duran Duran would support them and what their favourite colours are) - (Hadley) Didn't Tottenham do us a favour the other day? Oh marvellous. - (Norman) Don't go there ... Band members applaud and stand up.
