Senator Thune press statement on Dodd-Frank consequences
South Dakota Senator John Thune tells reporters that the effect of the Dodd Frank Wall Street Reform and consumer protection act was to make big banks bigger and small banks smaller, crediting a bipartisan deregulation bill that allows small banks and credit unions to get out from under its regulatory burden since they do not have giant compliance shops.
