Tennis fans in Australia show solidarity with Djokovic

Fans gathered in front of the hotel where Djokovic was held continued their demonstrations to support him and criticized the Australian authorities. Meanwhile, several tennis players around the world, including Nick Kyrgios, John Isner and Marin Cilic, showed their support to Serbian tennis legend Novak Djokovic and criticized the treatment of Australian authorities. Australian player Nick Kyrgios stated that the authorities should have handled the situation better, saying, "Look, I definitely believe in taking action. I got vaccinated because of others and for my mum's health, but how we are handling Novak's situation is bad, really bad. Like these memes, headlines, this is one of our great champions, but at the end of the day, he is human. Do better." US player John Isner said that Djokovic followed the rules and there's no justification for the treatment he is receiving, "What Novak is going through right now is not right. There's no justification for the treatment he's receiving. He followed the rules, was allowed to enter Australia, and now he's being detained against his own will. This is such a shame."
