'Insane' Upward Lightning Electrifies Kansas Night Sky
Some "insane" lightning was seen spidering upwards across the night sky over Wichita, Kansas, during a thunderstorm on March 29. This spectacular video was shot in https://twitter.com/therealskicast/status/1509010737527721985 slow motion by Taylor Vonfeldt on his phone. He https://twitter.com/therealskicast/status/1508999413502517251 said it was the "most insane strike of lightning" he had ever caught on camera. The National Weather Service had issued a https://twitter.com/NWSSevereTstorm/status/1508996603725578243 severe thunderstorm warning for the area that night, with nickel-sized hail and https://twitter.com/NWSWichita/status/1508995651945721857 damaging winds forecast.
