Snowboarder surfing ends up in classic epic fail

Skiing and snowboarding in Vancouver B.C Canada comes to a close mid April in most cases. 2019 has been a great season for the local mountains as Vancouver had more than average snow fall. Throughout the season the ski hills hold a number of fun competitions for the visitors. One of the most fun filled events comes at the close of the ski season. Up at Cypress Mountain ski area, this last event is their SLUSH CUP. This event challenges its competitors of all age groups and sexes to try to make it across a water filled pool. One by one the competitors race down the hill and scoot under a sponsors banner and give it their best shot at making it across the water. 'Speed is everything plus a little luck' one competitor said. Children with some bravery gave it their all as did adults. Some make it and some don't quite do so well. With a great day of sunshine and warmer temperatures, the day was a complete success for the closing day at Cypress Mountain.
