Toyah Willcox 'Quadrophenia' Interview (2)

Singer and actress Toyah Wilcox spoke to Hibrow about her impulsiveness and tenaciousness being key to landing her the role of Monkey in Franc Roddam's Quadrophenia. She had originally been asked to help John Lydon through a screen test for the lead role, but when the studio found they were not able to get insurance for Lydon her connection with the movie was effectively over, and it was only her persistence that led her to finally obtaining a part in the movie. In this clip she explains what made her want to do Quadrophenia.
