Sequence of shots of the finale at the Chanel Ready to Wear fashion show, as part of Paris Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 1989-1990. Karl Lagerfeld was chief designer at Chanel at the time. Shots include; model, Inès de La Fressange, walking the runway/catwalk, wearing a red, halter neck, satin evening dress with black evening gloves, a view of Inès with other models coming out onto the stage and joining her (the Chanel logo can be seen at the top of the catwalk), cuts to Gilles Dufour and other members of Karl Lagerfeld's team backstage, cuts to a tracking shot as models walk past the camera in a line on the catwalk, we see a shot of Karl Lagerfeld standing with all the models in Chanel standing and applauding around him, he gives a brief smile and wave to the audience, and ends on a shot of the models leaving the stage.
