Senator Isakson lauds Congressman Roe for service as VA Committee chairman
Senate Veterans Affairs Committee Chairman Johnny Isakson of Georgia says at a joint committee hearing with VA Secretary Robert Wilkie that it was a privilege working with Tennessee Congressman Phil Roe, helped the Senate immensely, with an exception of a few minor things where the Senate may have dropped the ball significant changes were made for the Department that would serve for a long period of time, publicly thanking them for cooperative spirit, so great to have a physician at the top of leadership to make better decisions, easier for a professional patient like himself.
