Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky says after meeting with Seventh Circuit Judge Amy Coney Barrett on her nomination to the Supreme Court that the far left was rushing to make her nomination about anything but her qualifications, the instant she was announced starting the same unhinged attacks recycled for every Supreme Cou rt nomination by a Republican since the 1970s, having said Justice John Paul Stevens would oppose women's rights, Justice Anthony Kennedy would be a disaster for women and Justice David Souter for the health and lives of Americans it risk, like clockwork had taken one more look at her qualifications and give up on the meeting her merits and instead return to the same scare tactics.
