Senate Commerce Committee chairman Roger Wicker of Mississippi recounts a tweet by Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai accounting for tweets by Iranian dictator Khomeini for Twitter founder Jack Dorsey glorifying violence, one calling the Zionist regime a deadly cancerous growth that would be destroyed, the only remedy to its removal firm armed resistance, left up by Twitter without comment, another that the struggle to free Palestine was Jihad in the way of God, quoted in part, and another that Iran would assist in a nation who would oppose or fight the Zionist regime, Wicker pointing out the tweets were still on line, asking how that was acceptable based on Twitter policy, Dorsey responding it was important for everyone to hear from global leaders and had policies around the world leaders but to make sure they respected their right to speak and publish but there was a terms of service violation to be labeled, but considered saber rattling which was of part of speech of world leaders in other countries, speech against one's own citizens was different and could cause more immediate harm, Wicker calling that very telling information.
